The NYO is all about friendships. Our players and composers make friends they’ll keep for life, and our supporters feel a particular rapport and loyalty towards the Orchestra.

Become an NYO Friend from as little as £3.50 a month.

Our Friends provide valued and essential support without which the NYO would not be able to continue its outstanding work. Becoming an NYO Friend brings you even closer to the NYO experience, offering you the opportunity to discover more about the Orchestra and follow our young musicians on their fascinating journey to the national stage. Be the first to hear about our forthcoming concerts, receive a seasonal newsletter from NYO Director Sarah Alexander and enjoy exclusive access to rehearsals and special events throughout the year. With your help, the NYO can connect with more young musicians and ensure that the next 60 years are even more resounding than the first.

Friend
£42 a year or 12 monthly payments of just £3.50

Receive the NYO newsletter including up-to-date news and insights, advance notice of concerts and invitations to concert day rehearsals.

Silver Friend
£120 a year or 12 monthly payments of just £10

All of the above, plus acknowledgement of your support in all concert programmes and the opportunity to visit our residential courses for a behind-the-scenes view of the Orchestra at work.

Gold Friend
£300 a year or 12 monthly payments of just £25

All of the above, plus exclusive invitations to our annual Composers’ Concert and our BBC Proms Reception at the Royal Albert Hall.

Platinum Friend
£600 a year or 12 monthly payments of just £50

All of the above, plus invitations to unique NYO performances and events including the annual Leader’s Recital. At the end of each NYO year, Platinum Friends receive a special edition Presentation Pack, including concert reviews, CDs and a report from NYO Director Sarah Alexander.

All benefits apply to just one person. For just a further £10 a month, Gold and Platinum Friends can include a second person in their membership and share the enjoyment.
